• Foundational Data: Access to 800+ providers and 4 million indices across all asset classes, ensuring extensive data availability and coverage.
• Benchmark Data Service: Delivers standardised syntax and consistent data across multiple providers.
• Rimes Data Lakehouse: Data access via the Rimes Data Lakehouse, a managed repository of data that can be used by clients to house both Rimes and client data in a single, cloud-based, repository.
• Benchmark Master: Designed to manage index licenses to ensure a single source of truth across all systems, compliance with usage rights, and maximisation of value.
• Security Master: Integrated security master to align benchmark data with the client's own reference data.

EBS is a game-changer for Rimes. We no longer see ourselves as being just a data provider to our clients; we are now fully engaged as a data partner. With EBS, we are providing our clients with a "future-proof" solution that allows them to confidently navigate the complex EDM landscape.

InvestOps: And how does this solution work?

Todd: "We leverage our Matrix Investment Management Platform (IMP) and Rebalancer, as well as our suite of data management tools and services, to systematise and operationalise the dynamic rebalancing of Target Date Funds."

InvestOps: Can you explain why this matters?

Todd: "Managing Target Date Funds (TDFs) is a complex and resource-intensive process. Clients face significant challenges in balancing the creation of new targets to meet investor demand and efficiently managing the asset allocations of existing products as they approach their target dates.

Rimes' Enterprise TDF Solution addresses these challenges by leveraging the Matrix Investment Management Platform (IMP) and Rebalancer, along with a suite of data management tools and services. This solution systematises and operationalises the dynamic rebalancing of TDFs, ensuring consistent application of rebalancing algorithms across multiple portfolios.

This solution is live in the market with blue-chip TDF providers, with our investment management platform engine processing nearly $500 billion in rebalance flow every day.
